TERA-MAI REIKI & SEICHEM
Tera-Mai Reiki & Seichem is a powerful system of healing developed by Kathleen Miner, an American artist, teacher and author.
At the end of the 19th century, a healing method was rediscovered in ancient Sanskrit texts by a Japanese scholar, Mikaomi Usui. He called it Reiki (pronounced ray key), a Japanese word that means Universal life energy. It was taken to American in the 1940's.This form of healing is energy channelling, and can benefit in many ways: Seichem (pronounced say keem) is one of the healing arts practised in ancient Egypt. In the Tera-Mai system, Reiki is an element of Seichem.
There are many benefits to this form of healing, including:
to ease and promote relaxation. to boost the immune system. help with bereavement. improve sleep quality. treats animals and plants. soothes pain and improves joint mobility. reduce the effect of trauma. supports other complimentary therapies.
As a natural holistic therapy it is a safe system of healing, even for babies, pregnant women, the elderly and after surgery. It helps us to move through the blockages that prevent our lives from flowing as they could. The energies enhance our natural ability to heal ourselves. Reiki treats individuals on all levels, physical, mental and emotional and at deep soul level, targeting the cause as well as the symptom.
Sessions last approximately 1 hour and the benefits last for quite some time afterwards. You remain fully clothed, and can receive the energies whilst lying down or sitting. The healer will gently place his or her hands in various positions on, or just above your body. You may feel a pleasant sensation of warmth, coolness or tingling. This is usually very relaxing and can be an opportunity for emotional release, a chance to talk, or you may simply fall asleep! Every individuals reaction is different and no two healing treatments are the same.
Alison Wynne-Ryder is a Reiki Master who attunes first and second degree Reiki healers at Feathers. She has been practicing Reiki for eight years. Her Reiki Workshops are very successful, with many students coming back to further their Reiki journey to either Second Degree or Master Level.
In the attunement procedure the Reiki master uses Reiki symbols and other gestures in a prescribed way. This ceremony creates an energy pattern around the recipient of the attunement which attunes their energy field to the energies represented by the symbols.
Anne Jones is an animal Reiki healer and has been giving Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki to animals and birds for nearly three years, specialising in working with horses. She is a fully insured Reiki Practitioner Member of the UK Reiki Federation.
Anne uses her Psychic awareness while working with her patients, which can help to gain a deeper understanding during treatment.
