Tarot part 2 - The Minor Arcana
Saturday 10th November 2018
11am - 4pm
Tarot Cards are probably one of the most well-known divination tools. They began as a card game in medieval Europe, particularly in France. However, during the eighteenth century, these cards transitioned into a way to foretell the future to those skilled enough to know the meaning written in the cards.
It is vital to make a connection with the cards individually when learning how to use them.
Many decks have been developed since tarot has been used for divination and most Tarot card readers will tell you that the cards simply offer a guideline, and the reader is interpreting them.
Following on from our introduction to tarot where we worked with the major arcana, this workshop gives insight into the structure of the deck and the importance of the minor arcana and how these cards influence an outcome.
You will learn how to connect with the imagery in the cards, tapping into your subconscious and using your intuition to be able to use the tarot cards for your own guidance or to read for others.
We will be using the traditional Tarot Deck and if you already own a deck of tarot cards please bring them with you. Alternatively there will also be decks for you to use.
